CURVED & LEADING LINES
Curved Lines create the sense of charm, beauty, feminine grace, smoothness, rhythm, movement. These are semi circular, circular, S, Z, type as in female figure, sand dunes, river, pathway in field, rock.
Leading Lines – The lines which lead our eyes to the main center of interest within frame like road, fence, wall, row of trees, ripples in desert are known as Leading Lines. These are strong pointers carrying viewers sight straight to the main subject without letting it to wander here and there. In the picture below wall leads the viewer’s eye to the tree surrounded by mist. Moreover both wall and mist produce the depth in the scene. Wall being linear perspective and mist as atmospheric perspective.
